Does anyone know to what extent an individual's credit profile or criminal background will impact the issuance of a license? I have heard that foreclosures and BKs may eliminate you from licensing. I have also heard that even misdemeanor offenses (if dishonesty was involved) may prevent you from being granted a license, even if it happened 20 years ago. Very difficult to find any info regarding this.
